Wrapped in Love: A Poem of Baby Swaddling

Writer's picture: Laura BartleyLaura Bartley

Oh, baby swaddling, how snug and secure

Wrapped up like a little burrito, so pure

Your little body tucked in tight

As you drift off to sleep, so right.

Arms wrapped up, no startles to wake

A peaceful slumber, without a fuss to make

A cocoon of comfort, you're swaddled so well

A sense of safety, as sweet dreams swell.

Soft blankets, gentle touches, and love abound

Your swaddling brings peace, oh so profound

A mother's embrace, a father's care

A sleep so sweet, without a single scare.

Oh, baby swaddling, such a simple delight

Your cozy warmth, a comforting sight

A moment of calm, in a world so wild

A precious gift, for every little child.
